In an effort to compete with the IPhone Blackberry recently launched Blackberry Ap World.  Since my Blackberry seems to have some strange power over me I couldn’t help myself but to investigate and download the Ap World to my phone.   What I found in the Ap World are hundreds of applications to fuel my Blackberry addiction.   Some free, some paid,  the store offers a variety of different aps for your phone including games, business aps, social media aps and more.   

The ap I’m in love with at the moment is I Heart Radio (also available for the IPhone).  I Heart Radio is an ap that turns your phone into a radio with over 750 stations streaming live from around the country.   I’ve spent time in San Diego and missed the morning broadcast of AJ’s Playhouse on 93.3…well I don’t have to miss AJ and friends anymore!    There is  a large selection of different channel choices and music types from country, rap, dance and   talk radio.   The quality is pretty great considering it’s coming through your phone.    One suggestion….check your phone plan and make sure you’re on an unlimited plan.  Since you’re streaming live and using the internet connection when you’re listening to the radio on your phone I imagine you can rack up data usage quickly.
