Success and the Human Rights Campaign seem to go hand in hand.  This past Friday at 6:30 pm, the HRC hosted another social event at Wokcanos, one of Downtown Long Beach’s newest and hippest restaurants.

The HRC is one of the largest GLBT political organizations in the United States working to end discrimination in the workplace, advance marriage equality in every state, repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, end hate crime discrimination, and end HIV/AIDS and GLBT health disparities.

Among the members of the HRC that attended the downtown Long Beach event is our very own gay celebrity Candice Gingrich, the younger sister of right wing politician Newt Gingrich.  We had a chance to meet Candice Gingrich and were promised to see a guest article from her on shoutlongbeach.com so stay tuned.
