Give those in any community the chance to reach for the stars; and with that they all have had an experience they will remember. They have learned more about themselves and what they are capable of doing. They now have more courage and a new vision. Their were no losers here, all are winners in more ways than one. I didn't think I'd make it this far yet alone win the competition. I made awesome friends, created a new family, got to experience the gay lifestyle outside of the conservative one here in bakersfield, and just have a great time. I just want to thank all the staff and everyone who was a part of this event. Especially would like to thank you the Shout Long Beach studio for taking some awesome pix and covering this story.
