Looking to do something good for Long Beach and have 30 minutes to spare one Saturday morning each month? Join Justin Rudd for the 30 Minute Beach Cleanup!
WHEN AND WHERE
The 3rd Sat. of each month at 10 a.m. at 1 S. Granada Ave. (@ Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, 90803) in Belmont Shore, to help rid the beach of trash and debris. Free parking.
JUST SHOW UP
You are welcome to show up by yourself or with your group. Average attendance each month is 150 participants and all ages are well represented.
BAGS AND GLOVES
Provided by the California Coastal Commission; City of Long Beach’s Beach Maintenance; and JetBlue Airways.
REFRESHMENTS
Provided each month by Duthie Power Services and others. Refreshments may include bottled waters, canned sodas, chips, cookies, candies, snack bars, etc.
DOOR PRIZES
In addition to the regular door prize opportunities (i.e. tickets to the Aquarium) and refreshments provided by Duthie Power Services, volunteers at this Saturday’s “30-Minute Beach Cleanup” will receive:
- coupons for appetizers from Bubba Gump’s Shrimp Co. at The Pike, and
- coupons for coffee drinks from It’s a Grind, Belmont Shore
