Anti-Protesters Hold Up Signs at Wilson

When the news started to spread that a group was coming to town to spread words of hate, Long Beach rallied together to do what they do best and that is to make it known that hate will not be tolerated in our town.    No one was quite sure why the demonstrators from the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas had selected Wilson High School as one of their planned stops on their tour of hate around Long Beach, but when they finally arrived they were greeted by hundreds of Wilson High School Students and area residents who made it know that they were not welcome.
