4th of July Weekend Events in Long Beach

If you’re not hitting the road over the holiday weekend and are looking for for something to do here in town, there are plenty of events around Long Beach to keep you busy.
Queen Mary 4th of July Red, White and Blues – The weekend’s activities start Saturday. Enjoy a fun filled weekend of music, activities, BBQ and more aboard the world-famous Queen Mary. Commemorate independence day with a gigantic firework display at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday July 4th with the best view in the city. To find out more about the events click here.
Aquarium of the Pacific, 4th of July – Celebrate Independence Day with the red, white, and blue fish at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Families will be able to witness the ambiance of the Aquarium at night and get a fish-eye view of the City of Long Beach fireworks display. The Aquarium will be open until 10:00 p.m. with admission for everyone just $11.95 after 5:00 p.m. For an additional cost, enjoy a buffet BBQ on the Front Lawn from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Please note that seating for the BBQ is limited and advance reservations are strongly recommended.
4th of July Bike Parade – Sunday, July 4th, 10 am, Granada Ave at the beach. Children and adults are encouraged to decorate their bikes and themselves for this annual patriotic procession on wheels that takes place on the beach bike path in Long Beach. In addition to the bike parade, the event will include competitions for children 12 and younger, including a Patriotic Oratory Competition (advance submission required), watermelon seed spitting, and patriotic costume contest. Blues and Roots – Saturday, July 3rd, 5pm, Downtown Long Beach. Blues and Roots. Where Americana Roots and Blues Collide. Pocket Harps welcome. Music by The Dibs, James Harman, King Cotton. Free and all-ages.
Hamburger Mary’s – Hamburger Mary’s is your 4th of July Headquarters…BoyBar Friday, Panty Raid Saturday and SWAG Sunday! Also THE HO MUST GO ON Sunday at 8pm hosted by Lady vaJayJay and Jizzona…Starring Sparkle Stone, Mozie Pornwood, Holly Day & Roxy Monoxyde! For more info click here.
Club Ripples, 4th of July – 5101 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach. Sunday Beer Bust and Tea Dance. BBQ, Drinks and Live Band from 6-10pm.
